Windsurfer LT NZ events are about shared fun experiences, not just about the race results. However, two similar boards on the water is the definition of a race!

Most Windsurfer LT NZ events are designed to be a shared adventure. In addition, the Windsurfer LT is an excellent board to test your racing skills against very experienced sailors. Divisions and race formats cater to all abilities. Some races are handicap starts and courses, which allow everyone a better chance to sail from the front of the fleet and win races, while still rewarding the top sailors.
Some events are designed to make full use of the features of the equipment, which allow for shallow-water and long-distance sailing, through a wide range of wind and water conditions with the 5.7 metre rig. This allows us to explore new places, often not possible on other sailing craft.
4.5 metre sails are available for junior, youth, small and inexperienced sailors.
